Now that's a great picture.  Santa even looks real and the smile is very warm.  Makes a person warm inside.

And these bad girls of mine are ruining all the dogs.  Every time I looked they were feeding the kids something even if it was melons.  You have no idea what a melon being rolled around the house sounds like. Chaos doesn't even wait for the fork anymore, he just grabs what he wants.  Totally ruining a great dog.

Happy New Year to Arda, Kari and all the staff at SCD! Cooper (formerly Buggers - adopted 12 years ago!) and Flynn send their love to all of you! Arda saw enough of the incredible dog in this Dobe mix pup to rescue him and Kari loved him enough to meet me halfway in Buffalo. Thank you both so much for giving us the absolute best boy!!!

Arda & Kari,

You both gave us the most wonderful gift in December of 2007 - a beautiful sweet boy named Buggers, who became our best boy, Cooper.

We lost our dear sweet Cooper two years ago at 14 1/2 years old (!!) - we adopted him from you when he was 1. He was absolutely the most wonderful, sweetest, best boy ever - our super Cooper!💙🐾💙🐾

Arda  - I know that you stopped rescuing Dobes a while ago but wondered if you could use some gift cards or some things through Amazon or ???  We want to honor Cooper by helping you & your pups out (love the new puppy!!).

Please let me know & also know that Cooper was very, very loved for 13 1/2 very special years.

Nancy

Nancy;  I just read your note about Cooper.  So sorry but I am so very glad that he was such a good boy for you.  14 1/2 is a ripe old age.  We just lost our Dennis at 14 too.  We are down to 8 rescues and 1 gift dog from a friend.  It's hard to loose them no matter how old they are.  All I get to see is the loosing any more so a friend bought a puppy .  Sure do miss all those old guys.  Thanks for thinking of us out here.  The kids can always use treats here.  Please keep in touch.  Much love for giving one of our kids a forever home.

Nancy, I know it's been a while now, but I just want to say I'm sorry to hear of Cooper's passing.  Yes, 14 1/2 is a good long life for a Doberman, but we all know how much it hurts no matter their age.  A big thank you to you and your family for giving Cooper such a good life with a loving family. :Rose:
