Larry took her in today and they did a culture which should be ready in 5-7 days. The vet said it looks like her eye is sinking in and there is a small lump under her eye. He doesn't know know what it is but said sometimes cancers can create infections worse than the cancer which may be slow growing. She does have fatty tumors on her belly. As soon as we know, I'll let everyone know. She snorts a lot and has trouble breathing, can't breathe through her nose. It's so sad, it's driving me crazy so see her like that.

My old lady Trinket had a spontaneous nose bleed one day. I know she didn't hurt herself because she was sleeping with me after I worked all nite and when she got up out of her dog bed, there was a HUGE coagulated puddle of blood where she had been. I was mortified....then realized it was coming from her nose at a slow trickle. Dr W. gave her a med to lower her blood pressure and something to help clot it off. The waiting room at the vet looked like a murder scene. She couldn't find anything, but said that often tumors present like that:( Pressing on or irritating a vessel. Trinket's appetite started to fade off and eventually she was turning her nose up at slow-cooker chicken. She would pace circles around the outside of the house so much that a track was formed on her path. It was like she was in a trance. I'd have to go out and "snap" her out of her little routine. I didn't pay for a Cat Scan or MRI because I knew I was not going to give chemo to her....just a personal choice. Dr W. and I have to assume it was a tumor by all her symptoms.
If Phoebe is only draining mucous, hopefully it's only an infection. I'm praying for ya!!!
