It is with great sadness that I post this for Durinda and Mike.

Speedway passed away today from liver cancer. Durinda noticed a lump inside his stomach area yesterday and brought him into the vet for x-rays. Speedway went into surgery today, but he passed away a couple hours after surgery. Durinda and Mike gave Speedway the best life he ever knew. She loved him and spoiled him every day that he lived with her and Mike.

We are so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for their loss. Please let them know how happy I am for the love and care they have him. Linda

I remember well the story of Speedway and his sister Zoom Zoom coming into SCD, and I was so very happy to hear they had been adopted together into such a wonderful family.  I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Speedway.  My sincere condolences go out to his family.  I know how much he will be missed, but I am grateful to them for giving him such a loving home for the year or so they had him.  Run free, Speedway. :Rose:

I'm so sorry to hear that.  My heart goes out to Durinda and Mike.  I hope it is some small consolation to know they gave Speedway and Zoom Zoom such a good life and a loving home.  I'm sure the two of them have been joyfully reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. :Rose: :Rose:

It's never long enough when we love them.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  But I have to give thanks that you took both of them together and loved them till the end.  Speedway and Zoom Zoom are together as they should be.

Durinda and Mike just adopted this 9 year old boy today from Manistee County Animal Shelter. He has a few health issues that they are going to take care of and put him on a diet since he is over weight.

Durinda and Mike are such wonderful people to give a good home to a senior with health issues.  I have no doubt he will be very well-loved and taken care of.  A lucky boy!

Meet Durinda and Mike's new rescue girl Lucy....she is a wild child...standing on table tops and all...Detroit police rescued her...she was tied up to a stake in a backyard with a tight rope around her neck.

I love the picture of the three of them on the couch! :D  That is such wonderful news that Mike and Durinda have two Dober-kids to love, and two deserving dogs got a fantastic home!

So happy Lucy was rescued from being tied to a stake with a tight rope around her neck.

Thank you for adopting her and giving her a loving home she deserves even if she does get on the table :LMAO:

May you have many years and stories to talk about.
