Karen -

The wee ones look wonderful . . . as do you!! They certainly don't look like they were early. Glad to hear they are coming along so well. Hope you can get some rest before it's time to go home. You're a brave woman. My hat's off to you. CONGRATULATIONS!!

And just where have you been, Linda? Are you OK? Where have you been? I miss you. I know that summers are your rough time with the farm and work but geez, you usually write a little. How are the furkids? Crops in? Come on, busy bodies want to know.

Well, I don't know about "angels", but they are pretty good most of the time  All 4 of them!

We came up with Camille Christina and Raquel Marie

I put the Bump's doberquilts over their isolettes to keep out the extra stimuli (lights, noises, etc). With all the attention those blankies are getting from staff and family, we may end up with a couple adoptions over it :)

Both girls are doing as well as can be expected for their ages...34 weeks, 1 day. Camille is tolerating the feedings through a tube better than her sister, but both are doing super without supplemental oxygen. We all want so badly to pick them up and hold them, but we have to remember that they are not supposed to be here yet. We try to let them sleep as much as possible and retain every calorie they get so they can grow faster. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it will all be worth it in a few weeks when they can be home

Beautiful names, Karen. I forgot about your son. I remember him on a t shirt, too. I'm going to continue to keep you and your babies in my thoughts. I know it is a difficult time, but your babies are healthy and will be home soon.

They do look like angels! It won't be long before you and your family are holding them 24 hours a day! My girlfriend works in the NICU downtown and says that your babies are very strong and healthy! I love the pictures!

Your babies are gorgeous--all four of them. Since my youngest "baby" is 32 & has no plans for kids, I need a baby fix every now & then. Keep the pics coming & congrats!

Those pics are just precious. I didn't know you had a son, but then, I guess I didn't know that Clare was yours until the picnic. Beautiful children to say the least!

Pam - I can relate to your 'baby'....34 here and no plans for anything less than four legs. Luckily for my mom my brother had two.

LOL Joaquin's mom wanted a grandbaby too. She has a shirt we got her with Page that says "My granddaughter is a doberman". Karen, it must be so hard not to be able to hold your girls. They will get stronger everyday. I didn't know you had a son either. He and Clare look like bookends. WOW your kids are so cute!! We'll keep your family in our prayers.
