Might take a day or two.
Below is the link to my current company. I highly recommend them. I think my 1 year statrup cost was less than $60. That was a year of service and a new domai name. You have a domain so you can transfer or i suggest just point it to their name server.

This should do you for a long time. I host two gaming sites from here with allot of download files. Haven't even hit half full.
Let me know. I got the 12 month purchase price.

Hey guys and gals Kori here again. No when moving a site you do not have to register again, copy files, or photos. You may lose use for a day or two will the dns changes the location the sit name points too. Usually less than 24 hrs. with the .com address. I would in turn copy the data base and all site files to the new site once i have access to them.

Kori,
This would be PERFECT, thanks!! When would you be available to move the discussion forum? I can move the site files, no problem, I might need help just moving this forum. Can you send me an e-mail detailing exactly what needs to be done in order to successfuly move the forum to a new hosting server without losing data (mandygates@prodigy.net)?
Thanks!!
M.

Iam so glad that I am not the only one that does not know what the h**l is going on. I have been trying to follow, but I am so totally lost. I'm an old woman and I just learned how to do the smileys. Computors and I do not get along real good.

I will need access to your cpanel to get the database and ftp for the files. Being you only have a 200 meg account size it wont take long to move if all goes well. You will also need to order an accoutn with the hosting company. When they send you the email with all the login info I will need that to reset the database up and ftp your files in.

The hosting account has been set-up and activated with Inverdigm, Inc. I'll send you the required information as soon as I get home...on my way out the door now!

Will I be the only one going through withdrawel? We're going to do our darndest to make the transition as seamless as possible...meaning, no one will have to do anything other than to continue enjoying the forum and posting pictures. We may have a day when the forum will be inaccessible because of the move, but other than that, it should be pretty seamless.

All the shop talk about the move of the site got me a little boggled!!!
BUT...it sounds like it's the right thing to do, from the gist of it...I'll be waiting for the message to let us know where the new one is!!
