but we have to wait for someone to post them. They wanted a play mate for Razor who they
took home a month ago. So now Razor has a new sister Rosie. She was the one that got a plane ride in to
SCD. She has her new home forever. We will post pictures at a later date. Thanks again for
giving Rosie her forever home.

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

Rosie has a new big brother and a new name. Carie and I have named her Rowan. Rowan means "little red one" and it is also a European tree that is part of the Rose family. In folklore, the Rowan tree is thought to be a magical tree that provides protection against malevolent beings.
So far she has settled in nicely. She is recovering from her spaying very well and she is already starting to put on some weight. She is very quiet and still a litte bit shy, but we have already seen her gain some confidence and start to show her personality a bit. Here are few pictures of her with her new family.

In the first picture Rowan is doing a pretty good Razor impression with her ears!
We will keep everyone up to date with both of them. They are both scheduled to start obedience training on April 7th.
Warm Regards,
Paul and Carie

Looks like they are getting along well already !
I love the name Rowen, and the meaning behind it. Excellent choice.

OMG,CAB she really does. That is one gorgeous picture. I know that I have mentioned this before, but I had my eyes on Cocoa when I went down to adopt Brady. Still remember her in the last pen on the left going into the inside kennels. She looks marvelous, just marvelous.Love the name and pictures. My gosh, she looks just like my Cocoa.

Thanks, Mary. This is an old picture. Cocoa was the first dog I saw when I walked into the kennel. I told Arda that I'd be back the next weekend to get her. I bought a new camera last night so I will be able to take and post pictures once again! I bet you miss my pictures, don't you?OMG,CAB she really does. That is one gorgeous picture.
