Joaquin and I will be coming down Sunday. We will probably be leaving here around 10am and getting there around noonish. We will be bringing our kids. I have a lot of newspapers and a couple of collars for you Arda, and I will bring some stuffed mushrooms for you and some salmon for Toot. We see there is a bunch of new kids to play with. I mean work with . If there is anything in particular you want/need done let us know.

Well it is a 30% chance of rain starting at noon and it goes up as the afternoon goes on. So, we are going to postpone until next weekend. But next weekend we are coming rain or shine, I want to see the new kids! And I promised Toot salmon. Enough of the humid hot days and rain in between already!

Toot will be here next week, if God's willing and the creek don't rise.
Poor Beefy has been tranquilized for almost all week. Man this old boy can tear a house apart in a storm. It's been an adventure. Time for feeding and I could not find him. I jumped on ole John Deere and went in search. Finally found him under a pine tree in a dog dug hole. Got him to the house and got him drugged before it hit. Lots of rain down here. Nice weeds everywhere. Now to start the weed eaters. Nicole will be here Sunday and she even got thew mower going. Heck of a woman. Like a Timex watch. Just keeps on ticking.

Hopefully no weeds around the electric fence. Between Sarah and I they should be dead.

It's a long road to Tiperary. It's enough to kill me when I have to waddle around it. The battery in John Deere loosened last week and I was without my Cadillac. Thought I'd die. But then I have to put this in proper size. Heather is at her brothers for the week end. I have Madison's Hermit Crabs. When I got up this morning, one of them was missing. So I started the Crab hunt. He had crawled out of the shoe box and had gone from the microwave across the counter top clear to the refrigerator. It's in a shell about an inch wide. So it was a long walk. And I have crabs (on my counter).

I know-- if you take a moment to break and just watch her she cracks me up actually as she spins like a speeding bullet.. but the funny thing to me is a smiling and fun "productive" speeding bullet.. she does so many things at one time.. it is a warm chuckle I get from Nichole...

And I have crabs (on my counter).

Arda I miss you and your life out there so much !!!--- there is endless humor always lurking, even though while some of it is happening it is not funny..... I sound like a broken record, but we all know there is a certain magic that touches you out there... . ..it imprints you....

Well, the Crabs were whisked away. Heather retrieved them before I had them fully trained. Have you ever watched these little creatures? They are so little and they can push their weight around. Over that shoe box he went. It's a marvel. I was intrigued. NO, I do not want a pair for Christmas.!!! DO YOU HEAR ME!

I'm not sure I heard you clearly. Do you want two or more? Do they come altered or what? Some for the upstairs, some downstairs, some in the kennel to spread the joy. We will have to find out what they like to eat. Are they fussy, are there two feedings a day? What size box works best. How often is it changed? Do they like to eat salad like Squirt? Where do we find the sponge for their water? This will take some thought. Good thing we all have time.

I can see it now-"Second Chance Crabs", kinda catchy don't you think Arda? You could put up another building and start the rescues!! (I sure hope I'm out of cane range!) Don

I am really fascinated by them. That shell weighs much more than they do and they just carry it off with them. But, NO CRAB RESCUE! And NO CHRISTMAS CRABS! or a cane wack to all of you.

You wouldn't really even need another building, just some shoe boxes, with lids of course so they don't wander off again, and you wouldn't even need the cane so nobody would get hit with it :), you could just keep a pencil behind your ear and if the crabs start to fight you could break it up with that  :D .

No squirty poop, no finicky eaters, no barking or fart/barking at squirrels... just peace and quiet with your aquariums and your pencil!!!

maybe you could just rehab them and release them into the swamp!!! LOL

Sorry, just had to jump in too...

I'm afraid Arda wouldn't know what to do if there were peace and quiet at The Swamp!
