Eric's teeth had turned grey in color on a few of his front teeth. As we all know Eric was missing most of his teeth when he came into rescue.
So I was hoping he wouldn't loose more LOL.
The vet said it is called Pulpitis which is caused by trauma to the teeth such as chewing on a crate or chewing on rocks.just something hard to cause trauma to the
teeth. So if any one has this happen that is what it is. I tried looking up on the internet when his teeth turned grey but couldn't find anything on it. Well at least I know
now what it is and he won't loose any more teeth. Thank goodness he would look like the dog on the TV that has dentures LOL
Just thought this is some information for anyone who has come across this issue. You just have to be concerned if the gums get red and swollen then there is a problem
that should be seen by a vet.
