Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

I wanted to post some more pictures of Rowan and Razor together. They seem to get along really well, but man do they like to wrestle and mouth each other :whistling: . Rowan does a pretty good job of holding her own, but, Razor is quite the powerful guy. They are both always nice as can be to Carie and I, only kisses and snuggling. We take them both to an enclosed dog park so they can run and play with lots of dogs. They have a blast and burn off lots of energy. We are both so happy with our new family. I'm so grateful to Arda and every one of the volunteers at Second Chance Dobes for providing a second chance to these fine animals. We will post more pictures and updates as time goes by. Here are the pictures:
