Group is 7 weeks 1 hr session for $105.00
Individual is 1/2 hr session for $140.00 is 6 weeks
These are done by Marci and Margo and I can vouch for both of them
If behavioral is an issue then it goes for consultation with Neva.
I know these trainers and I have faith in them so I hope this
helps, but you have to do your homework.

LOL on the trying on of the prong collar! I think many of us who have used them have done the same thing. Unfortunately, they LOOK like a medieval torture device, but as I'm sure you found out, they don't feel as bad as they look, and used properly, they can be an effective training tool. Here's what I have learned from my many training classes and different instructors. A prong collar should sit high on the dog's neck, right behind the ears, and it should be snug enough that it doesn't slip down or rotate easily on the dog's neck. With Dobermans, it has to be pretty snug because they don't have thick fur to help keep it in place. Ideally, you want the portion with the smooth chain part, where the leash attaches, to be in the front of the neck as that is the most sensitive part, so with most dogs, you want to keep the prongs away from that area if you can. If the prongs start to rotate around to the front of the neck despite your best efforts, you can always turn a couple of the links inside-out so that the prongs are facing out instead of in. By the way, I had the same experience with the head halter. Both of my dogs seem to be immune to them. Like Felix, they just pulled anyway, and I was afraid of damaging the vertebrae in their necks. We started with a head collar, but he was still pulling so much that I was worried about his neck. I am now trying a prong and it seems to have helped, but I don't know if it is fitted right. I did a lot of research before trying the prong and I tried it on myself first.

The prong collar needs to be correctly sized and fitted properly in order for it to be effective. Here is an illustration.

Yes they do have to fit properly and not to hurt the dog as well as being
effective

We were taught in obedience class the prong collar, when used correctly, mimics the correction the mother dog gives it's pups.
Yup

I love that Leerburg site, that is actually where I got the idea to try the prong. After reading through the question and answer section again I realized that I should take another link out and now it is fitting right. Our walks are improving now, he still gets excited but he doesn't pull.
Glad to hear it. They do get their attention just like the Mom does.

are trained with a red ball when they have done a good job.
They are a very nice dog unless they know they are going to
work, when Tim puts his harness on well he knows he is either
going for a narcotics run or a track. It is so interesting to
watch, it is amazing. State of Michigan does not want them to
bite, they can pin and hold but NO BITE
I trained Hunter with a glove, Schaudeh and others a special toy.
Just an FYI
