I tell you, they will be there long before any of us.

Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit,
you would stay out and your dog would go in.

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

Razor is such a well behaved boy, he respects the boundaries that we have set for him, for example, he usually sleeps about three feet away from us while we eat our supper each night. In the pictures you will see Razor in his dress collar and his normal collar. His dress collar is for when he wants to show off and look like a tough guy.
Carie and I are both so grateful for the service that Second Chance Dobes provides. We were able to find our dream dog, and at the same time provide a loving home for a dog that needed a home. Some people at work ask me if I rescued him in order to save money and I inform them that we rescued him in order to support the people that dedicate large parts of their lives to making the world better for dogs, and of course to free up a bed at the rescue so another worthy Dobermann can have it for a while.
