Leah passed away this weekend. She was Joey's dog. The vet said it was DCM. He's at the hospital right now with his wife whom just gave birth. A bittersweet weekend for them.
Leah was Yoshi's best friend, they had a lot of fun together. I'm glad for the time she had with Joey.

Thanks to everyone. I think the sobbing has finally stopped and we are able to talk about it. Ben is back with SCD as this is best for him. Leah was his best friend and he was inconsolable in this house. Always looking for her never stopping his crying. He would just cry and cry all day long. I hope he is happier even though it broke our hearts again. Ben is a special dog and I know you all will look out for him.

I can't even think how hard this was for you to do. You have Ben in your best thought to keep him happy.
I'm sure he will be getting a lot of attention and love to help him get over the loss of his best friend. SCD
has a way of making dogs happy again over and over.

Thanks a lot Jill. I hope one day down the road we can provide a loving home for a dobe. We will look forward to that day. I can't tell you how much we miss Leah and Ben.
