I have made a couple of fleece dog coats to raise money for SCD. They are made of 100% polyester fleece. They are machine wash and dry. They can be worn with or without the matching snood. They are $15 each with free shipping. All of the money will go to SCD. There is only 1 of each.

The first one is Blue Print. I put it on Darcy, although it is a little big for her. It would fit Dude much better, but after hiking through the deep snow this evening his hips were hurting and he wasn't feeling up to modeling.

With Snood.

The second one is a Blue & White Plaid.

Lori,
Are they both the same size? I love the blue print one, but Zeusieee will not think it's very "manly", LOL.

They aren't the same size. The blue print one is a little bit bigger than the plaid one. I didn't use a pattern to make them, and when I finished the blue print one I found that it was just right for Dude. He is an XL sized Dobe. So I down-sized it a little and made the plaid one. If you measure Zeusieee around the chest, I can see if the plaid one would fit him.

Lori,

Will you take orders for coats with money going to SCD? Brody & Bella could use them. We are having colder and snowy weather here in MA than we had in OH. Bella is in & out in 30 seconds flat! LOL. Brody is heavier with a thicker coat and does not seem to mind the cold as much as she does.

I even have some polar fleece I bought a couple years ago for another project I'd be willing to send you.

The plaid one should fit him. It is a little snug on Dude, and he is 37" around his chest.

Lori,

I want one, but J insists it must be a solid color. He has no fashion sense. Not purple or blue, maybe dark green? It will be for Bay.

It matters to the one you save.

Wait till all of you see Daisy in her new COATS! Linda sent her 2 beautiful ones and then today a Bumpette original came in the mail. It is black with flowers on her rump and a snuggy for her neck. She is absolutely beautiful and warm as toast. Thank you girls for keeping an old dog warm.

I can bring my camera this weekend and take pictures of Daisy and post them hopefully on Monday so everyone can see how beautiful Daisy looks. I can't wait to see them on Daisy myself!!

Here is a picture of Daisy with her new coat. She is camera shy and wouldn't look at me when I took her picture.

Now, that's a fashion statement! Daisy looks great in her new "outfit." Glad she's comfortable.

She is switching back and forth from the green one you sent, Lori's posey one, a nylon red and blue one and her jammies. She is just so thin. A tiny little girl. But she is now warm. And thanks everyone. She really needed them.

I have redesigned the dog coats. They close with a wide strip of velcro. Here are a couple of examples. Dude and Darcy were willing to model them for me. :sorcerer:

I am offering them only in the color black. You can choose the color for the pawprint, and snood trim. I have light pink, lavendar, green, light blue, red, cream, and lime green. To ensure a good fit, I will make them to order. I will need 2 measurements: length of the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and around the widest part of the ribcage.

They are $20 each with free shipping. All the money goes to Second Chance Dobes.
