Moki did good through the surgery, it took longer than they thought because where it was

on his lip a artery runs through that spot. So there was a lot of blood. Poor guy all he is doing is

crying and is confused from the meds. He will be fine...

Sarah I sent you a picture before the surgery if you can post it for me.

I know it looks really bad, but they didn't want to do anything to it unless it started bothering him

well it finally started bothering him after three years. And started growing fast.So it had to be done

They sent it in to get a biopsy on it. will let you know what they say.

Thanks for all the concern from everyone.

Here is the pic Jill sent. I hope he heals up quickly. It would be so hard to keep them from licking it!

Poor Moki, that looks like a very sensitive area to have to have surgery.  With my dogs over the years, some of them do have kind of a bad reaction to the surgery and meds and have an upsetting and confusing day or two afterwards, but it should clear up soon.  I'm sure little sister Star is helping to take care of him.  Keeping fingers, toes, and paws crossed for good news on the biopsy.

Yea it's not in the best place, but it will all be fine and healed in time. Hopefully the

biopsy is alright. Star needs to be more calm with Moki right now, so we keep them

apart. Moki always takes a toy with him when he goes outside now I have to put up all

the toys. He would still try to carry the toys and it would rub on the stitches poor guy.

Just have to love them, they always make me smile no matter what kind of day I have.

All good news NO CANCER.... Moki is healing real good, he is such a good boy.

He doesn't have to wear the cone of shame. He leaves his lips alone and doesn't

bother the stitches at all. That's my Boy..Now if it were Star it would be a whole

different story LOL   :doberman: The little wild child,,,,

That is wonderful news!  I'm so relieved, as I know you must be!  Good boy, Moki, for being such a cooperative patient.  :)
