Been another one of those weeks.  I watched the weight loss and then the extended belly.  No coughing but labored breathing.  By Saturday he could not walk.  But the stool passed.  JackAE stayed with me Sunday night to help get him into the van.  This morning we said our goodbyes and took him to Dr Karen.  Liver.  His liver shut down.  We had him here 2 1/2 years.  Came out of North Carolina. His name was Blaze but he was so crooked and bent that he moved like a Hobby Horse.  HOBBY was born.  He loved the yard and the creek.  The other dogs all left him alone.  So he had a free yard.  All of us loved the old boy and he sure knew how to rate the treats.  This was quite sudden.  So we say, "Run free, Hobby.  And I'll see you soon".

And so it goes..........................

So sorry Arda....
He sure had it made in the shade. Those big fluffy comforters and cookies. He sure was a happy go lucky boy and everyone loved him.

Oh, Arda, I'm so sorry--you've had quite the year. At least he had a wonderful 2 1/2 years with you & knew love. You're in my thoughts & prayers.  :Rose:

Oh, no, I'm so sorry!  He was a very special boy, and he was so fortunate to have been found by you, Arda, and loved and cared for during the past few years of his life.  Rest easy, Hobby. :Rose:

Oh Arda this is so sad to read. I'm so sorry just know you did everything for him.

He loved to hobel  through the yard and go visit Squirt. I can't believe it, he was out in the yard last week

when I was there :icon12: . I remember we had to go looking for him to come in.

I'm so sorry Arda. He was the sweetest boy. He had no life, no love, no family, until you. I love you. Run free Hobby Horse...
