Today is Valentino's 3rd year anniversary in his forever home!!! He is such an AWESOME dog. Thank you Arda for taking him in and for believing in me. He means so much to me and I love him very, very much. :)

Valentino on vacation this summer.

I have a recipe for a doggie banana bundt cake! Val prefers peanut butter though so I'll continue to search for a peanut butter cake recipe.

He is by far one of all of our Favoites. He's one great dog and I hope and pray he has many more Anniversaries.

I found this recipe. It combines Val favorites: peanut butter and carrots! :)

Peanut Butter Carrot Cake

1 cup flour
1tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

Mix flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8" round cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool. Puree cottage cheese in blender for icing. Decorate with more peanut butter and carrots.

Happy Third Anniversary CAB and Val :) . Though I haven't had the pleasure of meeting either of you in person, it's clear from your posts that he is a very special guy and he really got lucky three years ago when he found his forever family.

Happy Anniversary Valentino your Mom sure loves you and Cocoa very much.
May you have many more happy vacas together. You just have to put up with Mom dressing you up.

Val was one cool dude in his beach wear. :LMAO: It was the ONLY time I've ever seen people encouraging their kids to "come see the Dobermans". Val was a true ambassador of the Doberman breed while on vacation in his beach wear! :Loser: :blink:

In honor of Val's anniversary, I bought a new camera! Now I can take of pictures of Val enjoying his birthday cake! The camera has a blast mode feature where it continually takes shots. This will be fun to try out when the kids are roughing it up outdoors. I haven't baked the cake yet, but I don't think Val minds as he is busy chewing on a rawhide bone.

I encourage all of you to make this cake for your canine friends. See Post #5 in this thread. It was super delicious and very easy to make. I skipped the frosting. :) Cocoa and Val loved it!
