I'd say it's a racoon skull because so many have come wandering to the pond when they were ailing over the last few years. Don't know why.

They truly are nice looking Dobes and you've got a hunter in training by the sounds of things. I know whenever I catch Duffy with something in his mouth it's usually swallowed before I can get to him.

Glad to hear Larry is progressing in his recovery. Hope Shaylee's issues get cleared up quickly! They sure look happy!

We walked 93 miles in May. That makes 249 miles that we have walked since we adopted Shaylee and I'm going to aim for 100 miles in June. She's looking pretty good and can jump into the back seat of the suv without help now! :rolleyes: She's a lot better on the leash too. I had to resort to a pinch collar because the gentle leader wasn't working and the choke collar was even worse. She now walks decently until she sees a squirrel. But she has stopped circling and crying when she sees animals and people and bikes, etc. She walks pretty darned good now. What a RELIEF!! :wub:

These two dogs make me laugh every day. I wish everyone in the world could have this experience. Truly a gift from God.

oh yeah, I forgot to add that Tiki is turning red from all of our walks. She had licked a spot bare on her flank where she had a cut and when it grew back in it was BLACK and looked like I had colored the spot in with a black magic marker. The rest of her was a shimmering auburn/black. Who would have thunk! And her coat is so thick and shiny now that we have her on the thyroid meds.

It looks like Shaylee's fur is still getting thicker too! Sanja's fur is getting lighter on her sides and she has a darker streak down her back. I was wondering if hers is bleaching out from lying the sun.

Yes, Shaylee is getting more hair but it is still very thin. It's really thick on her shoulders and legs now, but her back and sides are very thin.

Yeah, Sanja is probably getting bleached out too. Tiki should look like her and Cocoa by August. :rolleyes:
