Jeff & Jody came to SCD this weekend to meet the kids. Jeff & Jody lost their last dobe almost a year ago, and decided it was time for another. Well Sadie pranced her way right into their hearts. She will have a German Shepherd and kitty siblings to play with too. What a lucky girl! Congratulations on the new family member. We hope to see updates in the future.

It was a toss up but Sadie won the best gift of all, her new
forever home with a very Happy Holiday. I hope things are going well with Sadie's new brother Bear. Thanks for giving Sadie a second chance to show how sweet she can be.

I have to say this gal reminds me sooooooo much of Hunter, I
keep looking at her picture and get tears in my eyes, I guess I better quit looking. I can't look at the pictures I have of Hunter yet. I am so glad she got a good home, I know I already wrote, but I had to write again. Bless you all -------------------- Nancy

Sadie is adjusting really well to her new home. She is getting along well with Bear and the three cats. Bear has been down since we lost Izzy our last dobe and he's showing signs of life and playfulness again. One of our cats likes to hang out with Bear and has been trying to play with and groom Sadie. She is so affectionate and very smart. She is doing a great job of keeping our yard free of squirrels
 . We did get her a stuffed squirrel toy for Christmas, I think she liked it. She seems very happy and we totally love her. It was a really hard choice between her and Oscar, if we had the room, we would have taken Oscar too. Thanks so much for the opportunity to adopt her and for all people that rescue animals. I will post a picture of her in her new home soon. Jeff and Jody

Pictures of Sadie - I have to tell you all we did change her name to Audrey; my brother in law and another close relative have dogs named Sadie and my husband really liked the name Audrey. Here are some pictures of her, with my daughter and with her new buddy, Bear.
