We did end up getting Kilo a few weeks sooner than expected but so far it is working out great. It is like he has always been here.

He was taken care of exceptionally well and is in great health. There is no way I would think this dog is around 7. More like a 3 year old....!

He is a very loving dog and seems very even tempered right now. I'm sure he is still adjusting and a little confused but is handling everything like a champ. He is curious about the cat but thats about it. He was scared of it last night...ha!

Here are a couple of vids...

Great yard (I want to move in too) and great videos.
He looks so happy !
How wonderful that you took him in.
A great ending. :doberman:

Thank you so much for posting these videos!!... Looks like he fits right in, I can tell he is going to be very happy in his new home. I am still crying like a little baby because I miss him so much!!
I was wondering how he was going to handle your cat... Thats funny.
I really appreciate the pix and video so I can see that he really is better off, keep them coming. Give him a big hug and kiss for me. Thanks again!! :doberman:

I am so glad it is working out between Koda & Kilo. It's so wonderful that he has found a new home. Thank you Prince Pride for opening your home and hearts to this boy. So many people won't consider an older dobe, but I think that they are the most loving. I'm sure he and Koda will be playing like maniacs by the end of a week. I am looking forward to more pictures and videos! :doberman:

Congratulations! I am thrilled to hear Kilo has joined your family. Based on the videos, it looks like he and Koda will get along just fine. Michelle R, thank you for bringing Kilo's plight to these boards, where he has now found a new family. Natalie, I know it was painful for you to let him go, but you did the right thing. Prince Pride, please keep us updated on how everything is going.

Finally we can end the breath-holding! So much fun to watch the two dogs playing with each other -- they really look like they are having a good time getting to know each other. Cats and dogs . . . well, they will get together, and I suppose the cat will be the boss. :flower: :doberman: So glad things are working out. :sorcerer:

Thanks everyone, he really is a great dog. Very very very loving. He is alot more connecting with people than what Prince was. He just loves to smile and look at you with big happy eyes with his nub just a'goin a million miles an hour. :doberman:

Koda is enjoying his new brother and he was even able to clean him like he does the cat last night. I thought it would be awhile before that would happen.

We really did miss having a doberman in the house, there is nothing quite like them. Koda is a great dog, but just isn't a doberman! :sorcerer:

Thank you everyone who made this possible!!!!

Just wonderful, that's one of the things I miss the most
is that little "nub" going 80 miles an hour. Even when
you looked at Hunter that nub just went like crazy.

I'm so happy Kilo has someone to play with and it sounds like they are getting along better then I thought they would. :doberman: I have to know, how is he handling Phantom? I was a little worried for the kitty.

So far so good with the kitty. He does get a little intense after a few min and keeps looking for him after I separate them but prey drive does not seem to be too strong. I mean he is probably on good behavior for now so it may take a few weeks but he is mainly just curious and sniffs him and then walks away. Least prey driven doberman I have ever seen. Prince would terrorize Phantom in the yard all the time and Kilo so far hasn't even given chase. And in the house he is curious but ignores the cat after a few min. I think it really helps having Koda showing no interest in the cat. :doberman:

Here is another video! :sorcerer:

I have taken some pictures too but those take longer for me to get them uploaded....
